The original art at two of our Rocky Mountain properties deserves special attention for their ability to engage and inspire. The Sebastian in Vail is awash in the works of contemporary masters, including those of the world-renowned Mexican artist Manuel Felguérez, whose paintings and sculptures were commissioned especially for this mountain hideaway. The astonishing Library contains some 2,000 volumes bound in antique fabrics, saddle leather and vellum, each a tour de force. Some 60 miles away, One Steamboat Place features everything from oil paintings to copper creations to the famous “salmon chandelier,” a stunningly original mixture of art and lighting that inspires and illuminates as only Timbers Resorts can.
