Vail America Days

Vail America Days is the annual 4th of July Celebration in beautiful Vail, Colorado. It's a day featuring spectacular fireworks and the ever-popular town parade.  The 2016 Parade theme is the Spirit of America!
 

The parade will begin at Golden Peak at 10:00 a.m. on July 4 and will wind its way through the villages, ending in Lionshead. Vail’s parade is one of the most popular events during the Independence Day holiday.

Vail Farmer's Market & Art Show

The Vail Farmers Market is entering its 11th year in Vail on Meadow Drive. The event started with a few tents and now has grown to over 135 tents for 16 Sundays of the summer. We have entertainment for everyone and bring people from all over to enjoy the Rocky Mountains on a Sunday. Enjoy strolling down East Meadow Drive in Vail while tasting treats from Colorado. Parking for the Market is at the Vail Village Parking or Lionshead Parking.

44th Annual Vail ‘King of the Mountain’ Open

“A Family Event for Young and Old Alike!”
June 17-19, 2016

The Annual Vail King of the Mountain Open is one of the top five iconic grassroots beach doubles Events in North America, drawing upwards of 700 teams of competitors from all over the Rocky Mountain Region and elsewhere.  Held over Father’s Day Weekend, the “King of the Mountain Open” has become a fantastic family volleyball outing with competitions for Juniors, Adults, Co-Ed, Masters/Seniors and, even, special Father/Son and Father/Daughter divisions to help celebrate Father’s Day.

Welcome to Pink Vail™, the world's biggest ski day to conquer cancer!

Everyone has been affected by cancer in some way. People run, walk and grow facial hair for cancer. In Vail, we ski! Pink Vail is a fundraiser that brings nearly 3,000 people, dressed in pink, together on Vail Mountain for an all-day event with live music, deck parties, costume contest and Celebration Ski Down. All proceeds from Pink Vail stay local, benefiting cancer patients and survivors at Shaw Regional Cancer Center, a nonprofit 501(c)(3). 

Vail Jazz Presents: Vail Jazz Party House Band, Alumni Quintet and All-Stars

The red hot triple bill kicks off the 22nd Annual Vail Jazz Party, beginning with the current lineup of freshly fine-tuned Vail Jazz Workshop students (Vail Jazz All-Stars)  –the nation’s top 12 teenage jazz musicians. Then comes the Quintet of former All-Stars who are no pros and finally the Vail Jazz Party House Band sextet comprised of  individual stars the genre - Jo John Clayton, Jeff Clayton, Lewis Nash, Terell Stafford, Bill Cunliffe, and Wycliffe Gordon.

Vail Jazz Presents: H2 Big Band Tribute to Count Basie

Speaking of energy, the sizzling, Colorado-based big band returns to Vail to light up the stage with favorites from the late, great bandleader. H2 Big Band is famous for nailing Basie’s distinctive swing style.

Vail Jazz Presents: Maraca & His Latin Jazz All-Stars

Led by GRAMMY®-nominated, Cuban-born flutist Orlando “Maraca” Valle, this energetic eight-piece ensemble features a collection of the world’s top Latin jazz specialists. Making its Vail debut, the ensemble is sure to get the crowd on its feet and moving.
